Arizona Cardinals rookie Jeremiyah Love hasn't even made his NFL debut, and yet, fans are already questioning his decision-making.
Despite playing a position that is sometimes undervalued, Love was selected with the No. 3 pick in this year's draft. He was considered a "can't miss" prospect due to his success at Notre Dame (2,882 rushing yards, 594 receiving yards and 42 total touchdowns).
After Love signed his rookie contract with the Cardinals, he told reporters he wouldn't need to touch that money because he maximized his NIL earnings at Notre Dame.
“I live in the era of NIL, so I’m pretty well off already,” Love told reporters, via Griffin S. DeMarrais of KTVK 3TV. “I really don’t need to touch that money, as of right now. I most definitely will not.”
That being said, the New York Post reported that Love's girlfriend, Aliece, was gifted a Lamborghini Urus. This luxurious SUV ranges from $234,000 to $338,000.
"Rookie mistake already," one person commented after seeing Aliece's new vehicle.
"I wish there was someone to protect this kid from himself," a fan wrote on X.
"Two months ago, I read where he was going to save his entire contract and live off his college NIL money," another fan said.

Although he won't be on the field long, Love will make his preseason debut on Thursday night. Cardinals coach Mike LaFleur announced this week that his starters will play against the Las Vegas Raiders.
"They're going to play," LaFleur said. "How much? It's not going to be much. One drive, max of two for those main guys."
Hopefully, Love will make a play or two that reminds everyone why he was selected No. 3 overall.
