Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love had a strange reaction when asked about Jared Goff. The Detroit Lions quarterback has been one of the best players in his position for a couple of seasons now, even posting an MVP-worthy season in 2024.
Even though the 2025 season didn’t go as planned, Goff carries high expectations into the upcoming season. That said, Love hasn’t been paying much attention to the quarterback or his team.
During an appearance on Amon-Ra St. Brown’s podcast, Love played a game of guessing the NFL player by looking at a photo. The first one he got was Goff, and he couldn’t get it.
“He looks like old dude Andrew Garfield,” Love said. “Yeah, I’ve heard of him (Goff). This him?”
He then admitted he had no idea of who Goff was.
“What’s his name? You said he’s a QB? Was he good? He’s on your team right now?!”

Love made another revelation during his appearance. He recalled that his parent and those who interacted with him growing up thought he was on the autism spectrum.
“A lot of people think that I am,” Love said. “My mom and dad thought I was growing up because I had OCD tendencies, That’s really what it was like. I wanted everything to be a certain way. Still. I am now less affected by it though, like everything in my place is organized like and if it’s not organized then I feel off like that’s pretty much the only thing.”

He added that social interactions were awkward for him, which reinforced the belief. Love has a bright future, as he will lead the Cardinals’ offense during his rookie season. He could be part of something special if the NFC West adds the right pieces next year.
