PFF's Gordon McGuinness is a fan of the situation Jermaine Burton landed in with the Bengals. He has Burton in the ninth-best situation of any rookie wide receiver.
Cincinnati took the Alabama star in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
"Being the No. 3 receiver in the Cincinnati Bengals' offense has had a floor of more than 70 targets in each of the past three seasons, meaning that Burton can have a big role from Day 1 if he can win that spot," McGuinness wrote. "The Alabama product dropped just 2.9% of the catchable targets he saw in college and is coming off his most productive season, averaging 2.75 yards per route run."
It's not a lock that Burton will jump up to No.3 behind Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, but he has all of the talent to pull it off.
