The adult comedy network Adult Swim wants to try their hand at the NFL - and what better figure to depict than the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones.

In Keeping Up With the Joneses, the Newberry family will be followed in their efforts to fit in with their wealthy Dallas peers, mainly Jones who lives next door.

From creators Hugh Davidson, Rachel Ramras and Larry Dorf, the show will include 10 30-minute animated episodes with Jones' likeness portrayed ... but not actually voiced by the famed boss of "America's Team".

At the Annecy Animation Festival, Adult Swim announced that Warner Bros. will produce the program.

The trio of creators previously worked on Netflix's The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, a satire of psychological thrillers that starred Kristen Bell, and Adult Swim's Mike Tyson Mysteries.

Speaking of Netflix, the streaming service is soon releasing America's Team: The Gambler and His Cowboysa docuseries chronicling the rise of an NFL dynasty and global sports icon.

The series will focus on how Jones assembled his star-studded Cowboys teams of the 1990s. The teaser photo features Jones alongside Super Bowl winners quarterback Troy Aikman, running back Emmitt Smith, wide receiver Michael Irvin and cornerback Deion Sanders.

Aside from their six primetime games this fall (which is second-most in the NFL), fans - and haters - of the Dallas Cowboys will have plenty of opportunities to see the league's most polarizing franchise in the spotlight.
