The New York Jets are seeking their first win of the season with a Week 7 matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
Their Week 6 loss to the Denver Broncos dropped the Jets to 0-6, while quarterback Justin Fields threw for 45 yards, zero touchdowns and zero interceptions.
To make matters worse, during the game, wide receiver Garrett Wilson suffered a knee injury. "It's always a concern when you lose one of your better players," head coach Aaron Glenn said on Monday."
Wilson's ability to play against the Panthers has been unclear, and on the Jets' injury report, he was listed as a non-participant for Wednesday and Thursday's practice.
It's shaping up that New York will have a big decision to make, with Glenn revealing on Friday that Wilson is doubtful to play.
"Jets WR Garrett Wilson (knee) is doubtful to play Sunday vs. Panthers, Aaron Glenn announces," wrote CBS Sports reporter Jonathan Jones.

According to NFL.com, when a team labels a player as doubtful, it means they are "unlikely to play." However, the Jets will have 90 minutes before kickoff to decide whether Wilson will be inactive or not.
Through the first six games, Wilson has been the favorite target of quarterback Justin Fields. He leads the team in targets ( 56), receptions (36), yards (395) and touchdowns (four).
The Jets' offense has struggled this season, ranking 25th in points per game (20.5). However, the Panthers' defense has struggled to stop the pass, allowing 213.8 passing yards per game (17th in the NFL).
If Wilson is out, though, New York's offense must overcome not having one of its most productive players while trying to avoid being 0-7.
Kickoff between the Jets and Panthers is 1 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium, airing on Fox. ESPN BET places the Panthers as 1.5-point favorites.
