One of the biggest issues being raised about the New York Jets' roster as OTAs continue is the lack of weapons behind No. 1 receiver Garrett Wilson.
With Allen Lazard, Josh Reynolds, Malachi Corley, Xavier Gipson, Tyler Johnson, and Arian Smith, those names don't exactly scare NFL defenses.
That means defenses can shift coverage over to Wilson and force the Jets' other receivers to lead the team to a win.
But if that happens, head coach Aaron Glenn is more than comfortable with the receiving group to help ease the workload on Garrett.
"Listen, we have guys that can make plays for us, and that's at every level," Glenn said. "Every position we have, running backs, our tight ends, we have other receivers that are going to make plays. I'm expecting all of our guys that are going to be here, step up and take the burden off Garrett.
"Garrett's going to have his chance of one-on-ones. Is he going to get doubled? Yeah, he's going to get doubled. He's a good receiver, but when you do that, that leaves somebody else in a one-on-one situation, and I'll take that with our guys all day."
With Wilson proving to be a difficult proposition for defenses to stop, naturally, he will see his fair share of double-teams in 2025, but as Glenn states, that leaves space for others to get their lick of the ice cream.
And it's important that they do.
Because if Wilson is taken away and the likes of Lazard and Reynolds don't consistently win to help shake that double-team, it will be an easy blueprint for how to stifle the Jets' offense.
Glenn is confident others can take the pressure off Wilson, but color us skeptical until we see it with real NFL bullets flying.
