Jets Quarterback Aaron Rodgers Says His Body 'Feels Great'

It's been a downright bad year for New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. But while many believe that his inability to play well this year has to do with lingering pain and injuries, the four-time NFL MVP vehemently disagrees.

Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show for his regular Tuesday spot, Rodgers declared that his body "feels great" and he's happy to keep being "out there with the guys" on NFL Sundays. Rodgers' most recent performance saw him throw for just 185 yards with two touchdown passes and a pick-six, but he could not lead the team to any points in the second half.

“My body feels great, I want to be out there with the guys,” Rodgers said.

Rodgers may feel good, but he simply isn't playing good. He's now gone three straight games without throwing for a mere 200 yards, has just three games of 250 yards all season and has not been able to throw for 300 yards since 2022.

As you might expect, Jets fans are fed up with Rodgers and are looking forward to seeing him gone - if not before the end of the season, then certainly after it.

The Jets' loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday dropped them to 3-9 on the season, securing their ninth straight losing season. They are also one game away from securing their 14th straight year without even making the playoffs.

And with the Jets set to undergo a full rebuild in 2025 with a new head coach and general manager, there isn't much hope that Rodgers - whether he stays or not - will be able to fix everything that's wrong with the team.

Will Rodgers play every game this season?
