Jim Harbaugh and John Harbaugh are two of the most accomplished and respected head coaches in football over the past decade. Their rivalry took center stage more than a decade ago when they faced off in Super Bowl XLVII, with John’s Baltimore Ravens edging out Jim’s San Francisco 49ers in one of the most memorable Super Bowls in recent memory.
Now, for the first time since that iconic Super Bowl, the two brothers are set to meet again on “Monday Night Football.” This time, Jim is no longer coaching the 49ers; after years of success at the University of Michigan, including winning the 2023 National Championship, he has returned to the NFL, now leading the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Chargers have exceeded expectations under his leadership in the first year and are sitting at 7-3 entering the week. Meanwhile, John’s Ravens, are 7-4, continue their strong push in the AFC.
Ahead of the highly anticipated matchup, the Harbaugh brothers shared a heartwarming pregame moment that captured the attention of fans and media alike.
"You been lifting? Wanna arm wrestle later? " John jokingly said.

In 2015, Jim Harbaugh made the bold decision to leave the NFL and head to college football when the Michigan job became available with the intentions of rebuilding a once-proud program that he had played quarterback for from 1983 to 1986.
Over the next several years, Harbaugh accomplished exactly what he set out to do, revitalizing the Wolverines and restoring them to national prominence.
After achieving that success, Harbaugh set his sights on returning to the NFL, following back in the footsteps of his brother who has firmly established himself as one of the most consistent and successful head coaches in the league with the Ravens.
Now, in one of the more highly anticipated matchups of the season, the two brothers are set to face off once again in a primetime "Monday Night Football" showdown.
