Former Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh helped lead his Los Angeles Chargers to a 17-13 win over former Michigan State and Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins and the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, one day after his alma mater won its biggest rivalry game.

Harbaugh, who grew up in the Great Lakes State and has spent plenty of time as a coach in the Golden Bear State with the Stanford Cardinal, San Francisco 49ers and now the Chargers, was brief but memorable in his description of Michigan's 13-10 win over the Ohio State Buckeyes

"Great job by the men in Blue today!" Harbaugh reportedly said about the Michigan win.

"Legendary achievement!" Harbaugh added.

The Wolverines beat the Buckeyes despite just 62 yards passing and two costly interceptions by quarterback Davis Warren on the day in Columbus.

Harbaugh, known as a quarterback whisperer of sorts, won the national championship with former five-star prospect JJ McCarthy of La Grange Park, Illinois as his quarterback. McCarthy is now with the Minnesota Vikings, sitting out the season after a torn meniscus in his right knee.

The Wolverines will now prepare for bowl season after squashing Ohio State's hopes for a Big Ten Championship this season at the league's title game in Indianapolis.
