There have been numerous adjustments this offseason for the Indianapolis Colts, who saw owner Jim Irsay pass away. Irsay's impact on the community and the Colts franchise will live on forever.

One of the things we will miss is hearing from Jim Irsay during he second half of the Colts' final home preseason game. Even though it won't be Jim, his daughter, and now co-owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon is going to keep the tradition alive.

Colts Co-Owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon set to join the team's Week 2 preseason broadcast

Following Jim's passing, the Colts announced that his three daughters would all be co-owners going forward. Each has their own specific roles inside the organization as well. His daughter, Carlie, was named CEO and is expected to be the most hands-on in terms of football operations. It seems a part of that will be continuing her father's tradition of joining a preseason broadcast. She is scheduled to join Greg Rakestraw and Rick Venturi when the second half begins.

This will offer fans the rare chance to hear from the team's owner. This will be the second time she has spoken publicly since taking over the team alongside her sisters. This will offer fans the chance to hear her thoughts on topics such as the ongoing QB competition, as well as allowing her to speak about her father's legacy and impact on the city of Indianapolis. It's going to feel weird not having Jim around anymore, but hearing from his daughter, Carlie, is something I recommend all fans tune in to as this new era of Colts football begins.
