J.J. McCarthy already got a major win before Minnesota Vikings play their Week 2 matchup against Falcons

The couple first announced in May that they were expecting their first child, and McCarthy left the team's facility on Thursday morning to be with his fiancée.

"If you seeing this now, congratulations my boy, congratulations," Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson said after Thursday's practice, using his platform to get a message to McCarthy (via ESPN). "I'm excited for him for this new chapter, this new journey. But after you get done, come on back!"
