A number of former LSU stars will meet in the pros tonight when the Washington Commanders face the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football. Quarterbacks Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels, as well as receiver Ja’Marr Chase all represent the Tigers and met on the field prior to kickoff.
Daniels, who is a rookie QB for the Commanders, walked over and embraced both Burrow and Chase, who play for the Bengals. They each exchanged a few words before Daniels walked back to continue warming up. You can view the moment below.

Daniels has Washington off to a 1-1 start in his rookie season after winning the Heisman Trophy at LSU in 2023. Much like he was in college, he continues to be a threat on the ground in the pros with 132 yards rushing and two touchdowns through the first two games.
Burrow and Chase were teammates at LSU and won a national championship together in 2019. They have since gone on to lead the Bengals to a Super Bowl appearance in the 2021 season, though they failed to make the playoffs last year.
The quarterback and receiver have connected 10 times for 97 yards this season as the Bengals are 0-2. Kickoff for the contest is set for 8:15 p.m. ET and will be televised on ABC.
