Former Clemson Tiger WR DeAndre Hopkins didn’t waste time making an impression in Baltimore.

After signing a one-year deal with the Ravens this offseason, the veteran wide receiver is already generating buzz at organized team activities (OTAs), showing flashes of the All-Pro form that defined his prime.

Tight end Mark Andrews, one of the leaders on Baltimore’s offense, spoke to reporters after last weeks OTA session and said Hopkins is already elevating the offense.

“He looks great,” Andrews said. “He’s been making big plays. He’s versatile, catches everything, runs fluid routes, and really understands the game. When he’s out there, he’s flying around.”

Hopkins, who turns 33 on June 6, enters his 12th NFL season with no signs of slowing down. According to his own Instagram post, he was one of the fastest players on the field by top speed at Wednesday’s practice.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh echoed Andrews’ excitement, praising the wideout’s presence and early connection with quarterback Lamar Jackson.

“I think he’s a heck of a football player,” Harbaugh said. “You saw him today. He’s talented, moves well, and brings a lot of experience. He’s played in big games and made big plays. Nothing’s going to be too big for him.”

Hopkins made his OTA debut Tuesday after a whirlwind few months. He was traded from the Tennessee Titans to the Kansas City Chiefs in October, recording 41 catches for 437 yards and four touchdowns in 10 regular season games. He added three receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown during Kansas City’s playoff run, including a score in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIX win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Over the course of his career with the Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals, Titans, and Chiefs, Hopkins has totaled 984 receptions, 12,965 receiving yards, and 83 touchdowns. A five-time Pro Bowler and five-time All-Pro, he’s on a Hall of Fame trajectory—and he’s now aiming to help Baltimore reach the next level.
