Jordan Love: Where Does The Green Bay Packers’ Star Rank Among 2024 NFL QB’s?

Heading into the 2024 NFL season, there is a lot of excitement and hype surrounding Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers. After an impressive run to the playoffs and a Wild Card blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys, many are expecting a big jump from Green Bay this year.

With a young roster expected to develop and a lot of great offseason additions, the Packers certainly appear the part of a legitimate NFC contender.

One of the biggest questions remaining for the Packers this offseason is, should they extend Jordan Love now or wait until later? He’s looking for a deal worth around $50 million annually. That price is steep for a quarterback who has only started one NFL season, but that’s where the market is at.

Also, just how good is Love? Where does he rank among active NFL starting quarterbacks?

Where Does Jordan Love Rank Among 2024 NFL Quarterbacks?

Pro Football Focus took a look at where all the starting quarterbacks rank when compared to each other. Clearly, they are not fully buying into the Love hype just yet.

Prior to the start of the 2024 campaign, they have Jordan Love listed as their No. 11 quarterback in the NFL.

“He struggled with accuracy and consistent ball placement in the first half of the season but was on fire in the second half. If how Love ended the year is closer to what we can expect of him moving forward, he will ascend this list very quickly.”

Their reasoning for listing him outside of the top-10 makes perfect sense. Jordan Love did look very rough to begin his first year as the team’s starter. However, the way he ended the season would have placed him among the top-five quarterbacks in the NFL.

When everything was said and done in the 2023 season, Love completed 64.2 percent of his pass attempts for 4,159 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. He also picked up 247 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.

It will be interesting to see what the 25-year-old quarterback has in store for the 2024 season. He’ll get a new massive contract either before the season, during the season, or after the season. Assuming he’s able to replicate the success he had at the end of the 2023 campaign, Jordan Love will get exactly what he wants.

Expect to see Love come out firing in 2024. He’s got an elite group of weapons and a great arm. Love will prove that his 2023 season was not a fluke and that he truly does belong among the elite quarterbacks in the NFL.
