The Packers’ offense has struggled to find consistency the past two weeks, but quarterback Jordan Love has been a constant.
Through the season’s opening four games, Love is completing 69.4 percent of his passes for 1,000 yards with eight touchdowns to one interception as a driving force behind the Packers’ offense.
While Green Bay will look to bounce back from a loss to the Browns and tie with the Dallas Cowboys when the Packers return from the bye week, Love has been stellar.
Over at CBS Sports, NFL analyst Cody Benjamin lists Love as the No. 5 quarterback across the NFL, in his latest weekly power rankings.
“His lackadaisical last-minute pace in Week 4’s overtime tie nearly cost Green Bay the game,” Benjamin writes of Love. “But Love was otherwise brilliant while lofting the ball downfield. His picture-perfect touch makes great use of the Packers’ young receiver depth.”
If Love can continue at this pace down the stretch, the Packers are going to be a difficult team to beat, especially if his high level of play coincides with the defense and pass rush dominating as they did to open the season with two straight victories.
