Jordan Mailata gets very real about what the Eagles need to do to get back to their winning ways

All eyes are on the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday as they look to rebound against the Minnesota Vikings following back-to-back losses.

The biggest struggle for Philly has been offensively, and while some are trying hard to pinpoint a reason behind the mess, Jordan Mailata has a more blunt answer.

“Just got to want it is what it comes down to,” Mailata said. “Football is a game of inches — sorry, I’ve always wanted to say that — but you just got to want it. And I think our focus hasn’t been there, quite frankly, to be really blunt. It’s something that we have to make a choice to every play and every down.”

Jordan Mailata Has a Message for Eagles Teammates: "Do Your F-----g Job"

A lot is going on with the offense, between offensive line struggles, miscommunication from the quarterback to his receivers, and a new offensive coordinator who doesn't appear to be doing a good job.

But to Mailata, it's an easier fix than what everyone is making it out to be.

“The film. The film,” Mailata said. “You turn the film on, it’s just like, ‘OK, we weren’t focused here.’ I’m not going to sit there and ask why they weren’t focused. Just, ‘Hey, do your f—ing job, just do your job. Just do your job.’”

The Eagles' longtime captain is confident that if everyone focuses on their job, then the dominoes will fall into place.

“‘Do your f—ing job.’ I’ve got to do my job, they got to do their job,” Mailata said. “Everyone’s got to do their job, which is why after my little bye week that we had, that’s why I was like, ‘Just do your job. Don’t look at anything else. Just dominate your box and everything will take care of itself.’ If everyone could just do that, that’s the message: Dominate your job.”
