Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen appears to be at the peak of his powers on the field in the NFL, as he's fresh off winning the 2024 MVP Award. Off the field, he's not doing too bad either, and he recently announced a big new deal that quickly caught fans' attention.
Allen posted big numbers in 2024, throwing for 3,731 yards and 28 touchdowns, but he came up short in the playoffs, losing in the AFC Championship Game. With football on the backburner for the time being, Allen recently shared that he will be participating in the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament in July.
"Headed back to Tahoe for (the) ACC Championship - See yall on the course. I'll be the one with the Corona Premier..." Allen said in a post on Instagram.
Allen frequently participates in golf tournaments during the offseason, but that's not the only big off-field development he's working on currently. On Tuesday, the superstar Bills quarterback announced that he had signed an overall contract with Skydance Sports to produce a variety of content with them.
“I’m excited to partner with a world class organization like Skydance Sports to further my creative ambitions through storytelling,” Allen said of the deal, per The Hollywood Reporter. “Utilizing my platform to do good and be good is very important to me, and Skydance is an excellent partner, who can help me achieve this goal, through the creation of compelling content that aims to inspire.”
Skydance Sports, which was formed in 2022, has worked on a variety of NFL-related projects in the past, including "Aaron Rodgers: Enigma" and "They Call it Late Night with Jason Kelce."
Now, Allen seems set to embark on some ventures of his own with the company, making him the last professional athlete to dive into the world of sports media while still playing their sport of choice.
