Josh Allen Talks 'Adjustment Period' For Bills' New Receiver Trio

The Buffalo Bills' offense last season was one of the best in football, and now, the group has three new receivers acquired this offseason.

Joshua Palmer , Elijah Moore, and Laviska Shenault Jr. enter a receiver room that operates under an "everybody eats" mantra, where players are not concerned about who gets the ball or the yards; the only thing that matters is wins.

Of course, players still want to get their lick of the ice cream on game day, but for that to happen, the trio must show they deserve snaps and build rapport with Josh Allen.

And that is something that has been a slow burn this offseason.

"It's going to be an adjustment period," Allen said. "Obviously, got a little bit of work throughout the OTAs, but I am working hard to get on the same page with them. They're three guys that move really well, different body types for all three of them, they're each really good at some things, and we got to utilize those strengths to our benefit."

Despite the additions, some still feel a true No. 1 receiver is needed, but it is clear that Joe Brady's offense functions just fine without one.

Averaging 30.9 points per game last season, the offense is in a good spot.

With Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel, and Keon Coleman to add to the new trio, that is a nice collection of weapons for the defending MVP. Oh, and we haven't mentioned tight ends Dalton Kincaid or Dawson Knox either.

So there are plenty of mouths to feed, and when training camp begins, it will be interesting to see how it shakes out with Palmer, Moore, and Shenault Jr. all looking to build chemistry with Allen to take into the regular season.
