Josh Allen's hat had special story behind it before Bills' 'TNF' matchup

Before the Buffalo Bills hosted the Miami Dolphins on "Thursday Night Football," quarterback Josh Allen arrived at Highmark Stadium donning a unique hat designed by a 15-year-old patient from Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo.

The hat was one of nine that Allen will wear before home games this season, which patients at Oishei Children's Hospital designed. After each match, the hats will be auctioned off, and the proceeds will be donated to the Patricia Allen Fund, which is a charity that Allen started to support pediatric critical care. Thursday night's hat was designed by a patient named MaKenzie.

Allen has thrown for 542 yards and two touchdowns through two games this season. The reigning NFL MVP also has 89 rushing yards and a pair of scores on the ground. Allen should have a bit of added motivation as the Bills look to improve to 3-0.
