Justin Jefferson reached 600 career receptions during the Minnesota Vikings’ 16-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, adding another milestone to his NFL career as Minnesota improved to 6-0.

The Vikings celebrated the achievement on their official X account, posting, “Catch #600 in his career for @JJettas2.” Jefferson reached the mark during a game in which Minnesota’s defense played a central role in preserving its unbeaten record.

The milestone adds to Jefferson’s growing list of accomplishments since the Vikings selected him in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. The wide receiver has established himself as one of Minnesota’s leading offensive players and a consistent target in its passing game.

Jefferson entered the matchup with 598 career receptions, 8,738 receiving yards and 45 touchdown catches. He reached 600 receptions in his 99th regular-season appearance, according to reporting on the milestone, joining a select group of receivers to reach that mark within their first 99 games.

The 27-year-old has been productive since his rookie season in 2020. He recorded 1,400 receiving yards in his first NFL season, then led the league with 1,809 yards in 2022, when he also earned AP Offensive Player of the Year honors.

Jefferson finished Sunday’s win with four catches for 44 yards on seven targets. While he did not score, his contribution came as Minnesota’s offense worked through a difficult matchup against an Indianapolis team that kept the game close into the fourth quarter.

The Vikings secured the victory with a late touchdown pass from Kyler Murray to T.J. Hockenson and a field goal from Will Reichard. Safety Harrison Smith then intercepted Daniel Jones in the closing minutes to end the Colts’ comeback attempt.

Minnesota’s 6-0 record keeps it atop the NFC North. The Chicago Bears sit second at 5-2, followed by the Green Bay Packers at 4-2 and the Detroit Lions at 3-2. The Vikings will next face the Lions on Sunday, Nov. 1.

For Jefferson, the 600-catch milestone adds another achievement to a career that has already included multiple All-Pro selections and five 1,000-yard receiving seasons entering 2026. His continued production will remain important as Minnesota looks to maintain its lead in the division.
