Kansas City Chiefs Reveal Super Bowl LVIII Banner

Earlier today, the Kansas City Chiefs released a video on their social media pages showing their most recent Super Bowl banner. This contained members of the Kansas City Chiefs’ staff raising the Super Bowl LVIII banner in their practice facility.

Kansas City placed this banner right next to their Super Bowl LVII banner. It represents the Chiefs winning back-to-back Super Bowl titles. Last year, they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles to capture their third Super Bowl title.

Looking Back at Super Bowl LVIII

Super Bowl LVIII will likely go down as a classic. This was only the second Super Bowl in NFL history to go to overtime.

In the first half, it looked like points were going to come at a premium. That is because the 49ers had a 10-3 lead at halftime. There were only 19 points scored by each team in regulation.

As a result, overtime was needed to determine who would win Super Bowl LVIII. The 49ers could only come up with a field goal during their overtime possession. Kansas City took advantage of this missed opportunity and got the touchdown they needed to capture Super Bowl LVIII.

Kansas City Chiefs Moving Forward

So, what do the Chiefs have to look forward to now? Next season, they will try to make NFL history. They would do so if they win the Super Bowl again.

Why is that? No team in NFL history has won the Super Bowl for three straight years. Right now, the Chiefs have won two straight Super Bowl titles. They have also won three Super Bowls over the last five years.

This is such a historical goal that it caused great players like tight end Travis Kelce to remain in the NFL rather than retire. We will have to wait and see if he will ride off into the sunset next season. In the meantime, the Chiefs are enjoying their most recent Super Bowl title.
