Kansas’ Cobee Bryant Makes Statement on Going Undrafted

Despite being one of the best cornerbacks in the Big 12 Conference throughout his career, KansasCobee Bryant went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft.

He would eventually get picked up as an undrafted free agent by the Atlanta Falcons, however, that would not keep Bryant from voicing his frustration on social media.

“Crazy if you think 26 corners better than me,” followed by three broken heart emojis. “Wild bro n ik [I know] I worked my ass off.”

Leading up to the draft, Bryant had been mocked all over the boards, with the earliest possible selection coming at No. 61. Despite this, the blank native slipped out of the entire draft and wound up in Atlanta as an UDFA.

In his four-year career with Kansas, Bryant became the first player in program history to be named First-Team All-Conference in three straight seasons. He recorded a total of 37 tackles, seven pass breakups, and four interceptions as a senior last fall.

His defensive numbers were impressive all around, but for some reason, Bryant dropped out of the draft completely. He now heads to Atlanta with a shot at making the roster and competing for a job a the highest level.
