Kareem Hunt Reveals Emotion of Chiefs Super Bowl

Kareem Hunt's redemption story is almost complete, with the Kansas City Chiefs one win away from Super Bowl glory, something the running back has yet to experience in his career.

Having played for the Chiefs for his first two NFL seasons before finding his way to the Cleveland Browns after his incident, many didn't know Kareem would ever return to Kansas City.

But after five seasons with the Browns, fate intervened and Hunt came in to replace the injured Isiah Pacheco and as they say the rest is history, with Kareem more than playing his role in the Chiefs getting to yet another Super Bowl.

“Very grateful for it,” Hunt said with some emotion. “Opportunities like this don't come often, it's only two teams left and now we got to just finish the job, the job ain't finished yet.”

Having kept the Chiefs' run game afloat with Pacheco injured, since No. 10 has returned, Hunt has seen his touches go down, but that doesn't mean he hasn't had an impact.

Kareem has scored a touchdown in his last four games and has rushed for over 40 yards in both playoff games. What's more, Andy Reid has used Hunt far more in the two playoff games than Pacheco.

So he has been the driving force with a combined 108 rushing yards and two touchdowns from 25 carries compared to Pacheco's 30 rush yards from 10 carries.

Now, he is just one game away from his first Super Bowl ring, and if that is achieved, the redemption story will have been completed.
