Kenneth Walker III was named Super Bowl LX MVP despite Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers setting a Super Bowl record with five field goals.

The result came after a game in which early scoring relied heavily on Seattle’s kicking game, with the Seahawks going 12-0 up in the first half.

Walker’s overall contribution ultimately carried greater weight in the MVP decision.

Jason Myers sets Super Bowl field goal record

Jason Myers made five field goals during Super Bowl LX, setting a new record for the most in a single Super Bowl.

Those kicks accounted for all of Seattle’s points as the Seahawks built a 12-0 lead without scoring a touchdown.
