Week 8 saw Justin Jefferson once again produce serviceable fantasy production, but it isn’t the star-level production many fantasy managers have come to expect from him.
Jefferson finished Week 8 with 14.3 points in PPR scoring, but the Vikings’ offense still has questions floating as to how they can consistently get their top wide receiver involved after a game in which Jefferson caught five of his nine targets for 33 yards.
A large factor in this equation is Kyler Murray. There were multiple occasions in which Murray failed to connect with Jefferson, and when Murray isn’t on passing, it leaves Jefferson fantasy managers needing to bank on a touchdown for a productive afternoon.
With the current situation in Minnesota, Jefferson is still a player to start, but shouldn’t be solely relied on due to his name.
