It has been an interesting offseason for Kyler Murray, to say the least. Now, his agent is saying the interesting behavior is all because the disgruntled Arizona Cardinals quarterback wants a big contract extension.
Murray's agent, Erik Burkhardt, released a rather lengthy statement on Monday saying Kyler is committed to playing for the Cardinals, but that the team needs to sign him to a hefty extension. Murray is in the fourth year of his rookie contract.

Murray sent shockwaves -- and confusion -- through the sports world following this year's Pro Bowl when he deleted any and all mention of the Cardinals from his social media pages. The mysterious episode evolved when reports surfaced that the Cardinals have been critical of Murray and are looking for the former first overall pick to be a better leader and more mature teammate.
