Kylie Kelce backs Jason Kelce after his viral tweet on Dak Prescott–Jalen Carter spit drama

Kylie Kelce is weighing in on a moment from Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season that had everyone talking.

During the latest episode of her "Not Gonna Lie" podcast, Kylie spoke about the viral moment from the Philadelphia Eagles-Dallas Cowboys game where Jalen Carter spat on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and was immediately ejected before playing a single snap.

Her husband, Jason Kelce, took to Twitter that night with his reaction to this, and Kylie has now provided her thoughts, while also defending her husband over his comments.

“I bleed green,” Kylie said. “And by the way, Dak spit first.”

“And in case you were wondering, Jason's tweet: I read it and laughed, obvi, before he posted that," she continued. "So, all the people are thinking that it was appalling: Do you know my husband?!"

After the incident, Jason wrote, “This is the most wild start to an NFL season of all time. First play of the game, one player is carted off, the other ejected.”

"I mean everyone knows you don’t spit, you swallow obvi," he added.

Jalen Carter Fined For Spitting on Dak Prescott

Following this incident, Jalen Carter received a hefty fine.

“NFL is fining Eagles DT Jalen Carter $57,222 for spitting on Dak Prescott. The league also says the game he was ejected for will serve as a one-game suspension," ESPN's Adam Schefter reported. "'After talking to the Eagles, the NFL and the NFLPA, Jalen has decided not to appeal and focus on the Chiefs game,' said Carter’s agent Drew Rosenhaus.”
