The Los Angeles Rams are nearing a winning window, but as long as head coach Sean McVay and general manager Les Snead are in charge, this organization will have a chance to win a lot of football games. Quarterback Matthew Stafford is still playing very good football, and as long as that is true, this is a team that can contend for Super Bowls. They have the winning formula, and they need to continue using it.
One thing the Rams do that goes underappreciated is continuing to replenish this roster via the NFL Draft. While this organization didn’t value first round picks for a few years, they have always done great finding talent throughout the three days. That will continue in the 2026 NFL Draft, and this 7-round mock is here to point out some fun potential fits for the Rams.
Didn’t the Rams just draft an Oregon tight end last year? While Terrance Ferguson is a good talent, Sadiq is just better. Los Angeles has been looking for a difference-making talent at the position for a couple of years, and Sadiq also offers tremendous upside in the run game as well.
The Rams have needed to upgrade the cornerback position for some time now, and Terrell offers some inside and outside versatility. He is the younger brother of current Atlanta Falcons cornerback AJ Terrell, and although they are different size profiles, the tenacity they play with matches.
One of the smoother offensive tackles in the 2026 NFL Draft class, Shelton is still developing his overall power profile. There are absolutely starter-level traits to tap into here. Shelton’s future could be at either right or left tackle for the Rams potentially.
Kevin “KC” Concepcion was a very good player at NC State, but has become outstanding for the Aggies in 2025. He makes his living from the slot, possessing the change of direction, route running upside, and after catch ability to make plays in several ways. Concepcion would be a great compliment to Puka Nacua.
With a great frame, good length, and plus range, Barton is the type of athlete who can play all three linebacker spots. If not for some durability concerns, Barton would go quite a bit higher than this. The Rams may have gotten a starting linebacker in the fifth round.
There is nothing flashy about Keenan, but he is very efficient. He plays low to the ground and is incredibly strong. There could be a role for him as an early down run stopper on the next level.
There is a lot of off field baggage to figure out with Iamaleava, but there is no doubt about his physical tools. At around 6-6 and 220 pounds, Iamaleava possesses a strong arm and is a good runner. There is definitely talent to work with, but fit will matter a ton.
Moore is a slightly undersized EDGE that doesn’t bring much of a ceiling to the table. He is, however, a consistent player that can do a little bit of everything. The former UTSA standout isn’t flashy, but he’s a winning football player.
If not for the durability issues, Moore probably goes quite a bit higher. He’s a really impressive mover but boasts a skinny frame. Whether he fits in as a safety or nickel will be a big question.
