Lamar Jackson haters driving Jesse Minter absolutely ‘insane’

Head coach Jesse Minter is going through the throes of his first training camp with the Baltimore Ravens. He’s approaching Lamar Jackson differently by playing him more under center. A sign that he has all the confidence in the world in Jackson.

Amid a recent plummet in Jackson’s QB rankings, Minter is passionately coming to his defense, per The Up & Adams Show. In essence, he doesn’t see where the criticisms come from.

“It drives me insane some of the stuff people say about [Lamar Jackson]…,” Minter said. “There’s nobody we’d rather have as a quarterback of the Baltimore Ravens.”

In addition, Minter is blocking out the noise and keeping the focus on gearing up for the season.

“I don’t really buy into anything that’s said about Lamar,” Minter said.

“I’m not like I’m not listening to, ‘oh this happened’ or whatever. He’s just developing as a real leader. He’s taken ownership of the team.”
