The Las Vegas Raiders need a quarterback, as we all know, and while everyone wants to draft one or trade for Justin Fields, they aren't doing that yet, anyway. Before they can draft one, they have to go through free agency.
In free agency, we have seen the Raiders make some bad moves when it comes to the quarterback position. Two of those came last offseason under the Josh McDaniels regime.
Dave Ziegler, the former general manager, signed Jimmy Garoppolo to a very ugly contract and signed Brian Hoyer. Both were pretty terrible, and I may never start another game again by choice.
Now, the Raiders signed another quarterback in free agency, but this one is sure to be better than the last two. Then again, it's not hard to top that.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Raiders are signing QB Gardner Minshew to a two-year, $25 million deal that includes $15 million fully guaranteed.

Minshew will play the role of a bridge quarterback. He will either start or backup Aidan O'Connell or the rookie in the Raiders draft, and he will be the veteran those two young guys need.
