The Las Vegas Raiders are set to play the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, in what is a home opener against maybe the worst team in football. But, that doesn't mean that the Raiders will win or that they can't lose.
These are the Raiders we are talking about here, and this does look like a good trap game. But, we will have to see what happens and if the Raiders we saw last week will show up or not.
One player that will show up, dressed, for the third straight week is cornerback Sam Webb, who's a practice squad player and has been all season long.
There are 16 practice squad players, and there are 53 active squad players, but only 48 suit up for gameday. They activate players from the practice squad based on what they feel they need.

This time, and the last two weeks, it's been Sam Webb. So, the Raiders are keeping a trend going, where they feel like Webb is good enough to play if he's needed, over guys like rookie M.J. Devonshire and Kyu Blu Kelly.
Hopefully, it doesn't get to a point where the Raiders need Webb, respectfully, but there must be some type of trust there between him and the Raiders. He has made so many plays before in the regular season throughout his career.
