The Jacksonville Jaguars knew how special Travis Hunter could be, which is why they elected to make a big move to trade up for a player many viewed as the top prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft.

A new announcement from ESPN just made him even more valuable as a fantasy football option as well. Which could make him an ultimate cheat code for those who can draft him.

Travis Hunter will get points for touchdowns on both sides of the ball on ESPN Fantasy.

ESPN Fantasy Sports shared that Hunter will be able to get credit for touchdowns he scores on both sides of the ball. Hunter splitting reps between two positions is one of the biggest worries people have when deciding if they should draft him high in upcoming fantasy football drafts. Even though Hunter didn't have a single defensive touchdown at Colorado, his skill set will make him a serious threat to do this at the NFL level.

Being able to have him score points for both sides in this way makes him very enticing. It also creates an opportunity to have the Jaguars' defense and double dip on points when Hunter scores a defensive touchdown. This makes the Jaguars' defense more valuable to those who already have Hunter on their roster. Currently, ESPN is the only platform that has announced this option will be available on their platform. We will have to wait and see if fantasy platforms like Sleeper, Yahoo, NFL, or others will follow suit.
