With the November 4 trade deadline approaching, contending teams are expected to be aggressive, and the Eagles are no exception. Roseman has a history of being aggressive and making the necessary moves to keep the Eagles ahead of the competition. A recent CBS Sports piece from insider Jonathan Jones has made it clear this season is no different. According to Jones, Philadelphia is actively looking for impact pass rushers.

On Sunday, it was reported that franchise legend Brandon Graham could be returning to the team. According to Jones, though, a possible Graham return won't influence Philadelphia’s trade search at all. The Eagles are looking for help at cornerback and at edge, and Graham would only be a bonus for whatever the team can pull off ahead of the deadline.

Philadelphia has a tendency to go big when it makes a move, so of course fans would think about a player like Trey Hendrickson, of the Cincinnati Bengals. While the Eagles would surely welcome him, Cincinnati’s reluctance to move him could result in Philadelphia going after a guy like Jaelan Phillips of the Miami Dolphins.

Whoever it is, Jones makes it seem like Howie Roseman and the Eagles have their mind made up on landing an edge defender, and when that’s the case, Philadelphia usually gets someone. It’ll be interesting to see if the Eagles can pull off another splashy acquisition as they prepare their roster for another postseason run.
