The New England Patriots were good for a long time, and we mean a long time. From the late '90s until 2019, Multiple Super Bowls were won and lost, and legends were born.
All of this didn't happen without controversy and rumors though. There was Deflategate, for which Tom Brady was actually suspended, and then there was Spygate. The one that's probably the central theme of this story here.
The Patriots have always denied these allegations despite paying fines and serving suspensions. Patriots great Julian Edelman once again denied the allegations on his podcast when former Eagles running back LeSean McCoy asked him if the Patriots were cheating.
Then McCoy told a story about when he was teammates with Tom Brady in Tampa Bay and made a compelling case about the Patriots cheating.
McCoy said the Bucs were practicing outside for the playoffs and Brady suddenly stopped practice and said that the team needed to go inside because there were too many windows around the practice facility and someone could be filming.
McCoy, who found the whole situation to be weird, said the 52 other players on the team and the coaches didn't think it was a big deal, but Brady insisted and the team wound up moving their practice inside. It kind of makes you think, doesn't it? Here's the video below.

Ultimately, we'll never really know what happened with the Patriots because evidence has been destroyed. It doesn't matter, though, because the Patriots managed to win many Super Bowls. Surely, they couldn't have been cheating that whole time, right?
