Le'Veon Bell would rather retire than play for Chiefs' Andy Reid again

It's unclear where Le'Veon Bell will play in 2021. However, one team can be crossed off the list.

Bell wrote in an Instagram comment that he would rather retire than play for Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid again. The free agent was commenting on a post about someone reportedly spending $700 at McDonald's when a fan asked him if he would return to the Chiefs.

Bell had a small role with the Chiefs after he was released by the New York Jets in October. He had just two carries in three playoff games after running for 254 yards on 63 carries in nine regular-season games.

The 29-year-old hasn't been nearly the same player since sitting out a year due to a contract dispute with the Pittsburgh Steelers. It's unclear how much interest he has generated this offseason.

However, Bell did say last month that he was taking his time to decide about where to play next.
