The Detroit Lions have their guys in Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell. Both were hired after the 2020 season and in three years, they were able to get the Lions to the their best record in franchise history, their first divsion title since 1993, their first playoff win since 1991 and a trip to the NFC Championship game.

For all of that the Lions have rewarded both guys with contract extensions.

Both Campbell and Holmes will be with the team until 2027 under these extensions. Here is a statement from Lions owner Sheila Hamp:

"We are thrilled to have Brad and Dan under contract for the next four seasons," said Detroit Lions Principal Owner and Chair Sheila Hamp. "They have been the driving force behind the rebuild of our football team and the success that we have enjoyed. The continuity they provide for our football program will continue to be the key to our future success on the field."

In addition to the extensions for Campbell and Holmes, the Lions have also agreed to an extension with special assistant to the owner and CEO Chris Spielman. Lions president Rod Wood spoke about all three extensions.

"I could not be more proud of the work that Brad, Dan and Chris have done for our organization," said President and CEO Rod Wood. "They have selflessly worked together to build a winning culture within the Lions. I am excited to continue working with them to create the sustained success that we envision for the team, our fans, and the city of Detroit."
