The Detroit Lions' running game is expected to be a strength yet again in 2025-26 with the dynamic duo of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery set to return, flanked by Craig Reynolds and Sione Vaki.
The Lions finished sixth in the NFL in rushing yards with 2,488 last season while finishing second in rush TDs behind the Buffalo Bills with 32.
A key cog of the Lions' running game is third-year pro Jahmyr Gibbs, who is hoping to unlock another level in his game under new offensive coordinator John Morton.
The numbers 26, 33, 35 and 40 were offered, a notion that Gibbs scoffed at during his interview.

Gibbs signed a four-year contract after being drafted and could be in line for an extension soon as one of the most productive, explosive, and dynamic players at his position in the National Football League.
