He also scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime with a breakaway 69-yard run. At 7-4, the Lions sit in third place in the NFC North, looking to win the division for a second straight season.
His performance also set a franchise record. After the game, Detroit announced that his 264 scrimmage yards broke the team's single-game record for a running back.

Following the game, the running back received praise from head coach Dan Campbell, who said, "He's electric, you know, and he's just, he's a game changer," in a video posted by ESPN's Eric Woodyard.
Since being selected with the No. 12 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Gibbs has established himself as one of the NFL's top running backs. Through 11 games, he's rushed the ball 155 times for 951 and 10 touchdowns. He also has 46 receptions for 379 yards and three touchdowns.
After his record-setting performance, Gibbs and the Lions prepare for a Week 13 game against the 7-3-1 Green Bay Packers. Detroit is looking to even the season series after falling to Green Bay in Week 1.
