Lions release public training camp dates and dates for joint practices with the Dolphins and Texans, how to get tickets

The Detroit Lions will have a longer training camp in 2025 because they'll be playing in the Hall of Fame game against the Los Angeles Chargers on July 31st. That means they're going to obviosly start camp early. Today, we know when you'll be able to go to the Meijer Performance Center and watch them. Here are the dates:

  • Saturday, July 26 at 7:30 A.M. (Lions Loyal members only)
  • Monday, July 28 at 7:30 A.M.
  • Tuesday, July 29 at 7:30 A.M.
  • Sunday, August 3 at 7:30 A.M
  • Monday, August 4 at 5:00 P.M. (Lions Loyal members only)
  • Monday, August 11 at 9:30 A.M. (By invitation only)
  • Wednesday, August 13 at 9:30 (Lions loyal members only)
  • Thursday, August 14 at 9:30
  • Thursday, August 21 at 9:30

We also now know when they will hold their joint practices with the Miami Dolphins and Houston Texans. 

The Lions will have two joint practices with the Dolphins on Wednesday, August 13, and Thursday, August 14, ahead of their game on Saturday, August 16th. 

Then they will have one joint practice with the Texans on Thursday, August 21, ahead of their preseason game on Saturday, August 23. 

If you'd like to attend, tickets will be available on July 15 and July 8 for Lions Loyal members, and you can get them here. They are first-come, first-served. So make sure you're on top of it. All other pertinent info, including parking and autograph info, can be found here.
