As NFL players return to team facilities this week for training camp, the setting will be very different.
League protocols require daily health checks and contact tracing monitors coupled with new social-distancing guidelines.

All teams are set to adapt to the new protocols, and the Los Angeles Rams have spread out lockers and are utilizing separate rooms to give players more space, according to NFL Network's Steve Wyche.
As players continue to file into training camp, they'll be met with the harsh reality that playing sports amid a pandemic isn't all it's cracked up to be. As locker rooms adapt to social distancing guidelines, there's still always the fear that the coronavirus could spread like wildfire.
