With the exception of Cincinnati’s Ja’Marr Chase and Miami’s Jaylen Waddle, Detroit Lions receiver Amon-Ra. St Brown has largely outperformed 14 of the 16 receivers taken ahead of him in the 2021 NFL Draft.
With his latest performance in Detroit's 37-23 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday — one in which he caught seven of 13 targets for 76 yards — St. Brown put himself in some elite company.

It was St. Brown’s ninth game with seven receptions or more and his seventh outing with 75 yards or more.
Through 14 games this season, St. Brown has 96 receptions, 1,050 yards and six touchdowns, topping the 90 receptions, 912 yards, and five touchdowns he had in 17 games last year during his breakout rookie season.
St. Brown leads the Lions in receptions, targets, yards, touchdowns, receptions of 20 or more yards (10), yards after the catch (489), and first downs (60).
He also ranks fifth in the NFL in receptions, seventh in targets, 10th in receiving yards, and 12th in yards per game.
The second-year wideout also became the eighth player since 2000 to record a 1,000-yard season joining Calvin Johnson (seven), Golden Tate (three), Kenny Golladay (two), Marvin Jones, Roy Williams, Mike Furrey, and Johnny Morton.
St. Brown also became the fifth Lions WR with 90 or more receptions in consecutive seasons, joining Johnson, Tate, Herman Moore, and Brett Perriman.
