It's a new week on Look of the Day, and we're heading to the gridiron for our favorite prop bet of the night. Let's target a rushing prop for this week's "Monday Night Football" matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles.
Zach Charbonnet has really been running well of late. The rookie running back has gone over 33.5 rushing yards in five straight games and six of his last seven, and Kenneth Walker even played in five of those games. Over that seven-game stretch, Charbonnet averaged 4.2 yards per carry.
The Seahawks' running game has quickly become a one-two punch with Walker and Charbonnet. In fact, Charbonnet has out-snapped Walker in three of the last four games in which both RBs played and didn't get injured. This is more of an even split than the betting market indicates. Walker's rushing line is set at 48.5 yards, while Charbonnet's is much lower at 33.5.
Philadelphia's rushing defense was stout to begin the year, but it's fallen off in recent weeks. The Eagles have given up an average of 156.3 rushing yards per game over their last four games. If Geno Smith is ruled out, which seems likely at this point, the Seahawks will commit to the run.
We're expecting Charbonnet to get close to 10 carries on "MNF," and with the way he's been running it lately, he should be able to clear this line.
