Over the last few years, running back Kyren Williams have been a focal point of the Los Angeles Rams' offense. The former Notre Dame product has finished top ten in the league in rushing over the last two seasons, capped by a third-place finish in 2023.
He finished seventh in rushing yards and tied for fifth in rushing touchdowns this past season.
Kyren Williams is a mean one.

Despite his production, Kyren Williams was seemingly forgotten by the vast majority of NFL executives and coaches in their latest rankings. ESPN tallied votes from 70 league executives, coaches and scouts to curate a list of the best players at every position.
In the article, Williams didn't finish in the top ten running backs in the league. Surely, then, he must have at least finished as an honorable mention? Not. at. all.
The first time Kyren Williams is even mentioned in the article is in the "others receiving votes" category at the very end. That's it.
15 other running backs were put ahead of Kyren Williams in their rankings, including players who have regressed in recent years, like Aaron Jones and Alvin Kamara.
Over the last two seasons, Williams has finished in the top ten in the league each year in missed tackles forced, yards after contact, and runs over 10+ yards. Only Derrick Henry and Saquon Barkley gained more first downs than Williams did last season.
Sure, Williams might not be as talented as Saquon or Henry or Jahmyr Gibbs, but in a league governed by production, it's a bit stunning to see him not even considered among the top running backs. What more does he have to prove?
However, this ranking might be an indication of where other teams value Williams, which will certainly play a factor in the ongoing negotiation between him and the Rams as they look to determine a contract extension.
