The New York Giants fell to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, losing 40-37. It came at the hands of kicker Brandon Aubrey, who nailed a 46-yard field goal to win the game in overtime.
However, that wouldn't have been possible without a costly interception from quarterback Russell Wilson the drive before. He launched a pass intended for wide receiver Malik Nabers, but unfortunately, it wound up in the hands of safety Donovan Wilson.
It gave the Cowboys the ball at their own 30-yard line, driving down to the Giants' 28-yard line before winning it on a field goal.
On Wednesday, while speaking to reporters, Nabers took responsibility for the turnover, but not without hesitating at first.
“I mean, I wouldn’t put it on myself personally,” Nabers said in a video posted by USA Today's Art Stapleton. “I mean, we all play a role… actually, I would take it as my fault. You know, I should have been in more communication with Russ to know what we was trying to do.”

There did seem to be confusion on the play, as Nabers ran a corner route toward the sideline, yet Wilson's pass was thrown inside the numbers.
No matter whose fault it truly was, the young wide receiver is showing some impressive maturity and ability to take responsibility when the team as a whole messes up.
In all, Nabers still had a very impressive game, hauling in nine receptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns on 13 targets, all of which led the Giants.
After starting 0-2, New York is faced with a tough Week 3 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, who are also looking for their first win of the season.
With the connection between Wilson and Nabers starting to heat up, the Giants are looking to pull off a big upset, sitting as 5.5-point underdogs according to ESPN BET.
