Malik Nabers talks biggest takeaways from 2024 season, partnership with Colgate Total

The New York Giants had high expectations for wide receiver Malik Nabers coming into the 2024 season, and he delivered with over 1,200 receiving yards. In an interview with On3, Nabers talked about the biggest takeaways from his rookie season.

“Just having that mentality to when I come into the game, just to keep my foot on the opponent’s neck, whether we winning or whether we were losing or just also being that guy that my quarterback can rely on rather than just getting open or just getting catches in, trying to create other downs, getting first downs, getting touchdowns,” Malik Nabers told On3. “So just having that extra guy that’s on the field that always can be open and be reliable for a QB when he throws me the ball.”

Nabers finished the 2024 season with 109 receptions, 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns in 15 regular-season games. He was selected to the Pro Bowl and finished fifth in Offensive Rookie of the Year voting.

Despite having a good year, Nabers and the Giants missed the playoffs, finishing the season with a 3-14 record. Nabers said the Giants are working hard at training camp to turn things around and be a playoff contender.

“Training camp has been a very effective year,” Nabers said. “We added some guys to the team that’s been very helpful to us, whether being on offense or defense, but I feel like this offseason and this training camp has been very effective, and we’re hoping to take a leap into this next year.”
