Malik Willis is Not the Dolphins Answer at QB

The Miami Dolphins are clearly undergoing a rebuild as they have started off the season 0-4, but it’s clear as day Malik Willis is not their quarterback of the future. Early in the Cincinnati Bengals game Willis was missing receivers, overthrowing guys, and just not being a quality quarterback.

In the third quarter with first and goal on the one yard line, Willis took a terrible sack and that was one of the key moments that could have turned this game around.

Through four games, Malik Willis has completed just 56% of his passes for 178 yards per game with only one touchdown, and Miami ranks last in the NFL at 11.5 points per game. At 0-4, the Dolphins are in the running for the No. 1 overall pick, and several CBS Sports mock drafts already have them taking his replacement with it. His three-year, $67.5 million contract was signed off a tiny sample of six career starts, and nothing about his play so far suggests he can lift a roster this thin, so Miami has every reason to draft its next quarterback.
