Maxx Crosby is showing Geno Smith something he's never seen every single day of Raiders OTAs

When you play for the Las Vegas Raiders or play against them, you have to deal with Maxx Crosby, whether it's practice or the game. We know that -- we know about his antics and ability to make everyone around him better.

Crosby is, well, Crosby. There is no other player like him in the history of the game, and I think that is a pretty accurate take. There is no one who has been through the things he has, has come back to be a better player and person, and has the work ethic he has. And that work ethic is why he is who he is in every aspect of his life.

And now, Geno Smith, the former Seattle Seahawks QB, has been introduced to that work ethic, and it's truly unlike anything he has ever seen. Remember, this is Maxx Crosby we are talking about here.

"Yeah, it's the same as it was when we played him in Seattle, man. It's pressure every time, we're talking every time. Maxx [Crosby] is a great player. I got to know him a little bit more at the Pro Bowl a few years back, which was here. And just in my short time being here, just one of the hardest working guys I've ever seen, one of the guys who's more committed to football than anyone," Smith said during OTAs.

"He loves the game. You can tell he's passionate about it, and he's got a great leadership style. So, I think guys naturally can follow him, especially when you got a guy who's working that hard. And he's a special player, man, it's great to have him on my side now and not have to run from him, so it's really good."

There have been so many players, whether they are rookies or free agents, who join the Raiders and want to work with Maxx Crosby, or want to do the same things he does, like have the energy and leadership he has. He has said this a few times, but those same people always end up tapping out. What Crosby does and the work ethic he has speak for themselves.

Smith has only been around Crosby for a few months, and I'm sure that was enough to see just what he's about. And mind you, Smith saying Crosby has some of the best work ethic he has ever seen isn't just him saying that. And it's also not just some college kid saying it who has never been around the block.

Geno Smith has been in this league for a very long time and has played for the New York Jets, New York Giants, Los Angeles Chargers, Seahawks, and now the Raiders. So, he has seen quite a few players during his time.
