Miami Dolphins handed one of the most brutal stretches of games in the league in 2025 schedule

The Miami Dolphins' 2025 schedule is out, so fans now know when they'll get to see their team take on their AFC East division rivals and the rest of their foes this fall.

That being said, the NFL schedule makers didn't do the Dolphins many favors for a number of reasons. Miami will have to face one of the toughest teams in the league in their game in Madrid in November in the 2024 surprise team of the year - the Washington Commanders.  The Dolphins also have to deal with something that basically no player wants to deal with twice - two Thursday night games and the short prep weeks that come with them.

However, the schedule makers gave the Dolphins one more unwelcomed gift on their schedule - perhaps the toughest three-game stretch in the entire NFL.

Miami has a three-game stretch against the Baltimore Ravens on a short week, the Buffalo Bills, and the Washington Commanders in Spain.

Talk about a truly gross stretch of games.

The Dolphins take part in their second Thursday Night Football game of the season at home against defending NFL MVP Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens on October 30.  I don't need to explain the difficulty of that matchup.

Nor do I need to explain the troubles the Dolphins have had against the Buffalo Bills, who come to Hard Rock Stadium the following week on Sunday, November 9.  Since Josh Allen was drafted by the Bills in 2018, Miami has defeated Buffalo one time.  That's ridiculous. The Bills gave Miami a sliver of hope in their second matchup in 2024, but a late pass interference call and ensuing 61-yard field goal sent the Dolphins home in the loss column 30-27

After facing their divisional nemesis, they travel to Madrid to face off against the team who blew out the top-seeded Detroit Lions in last year's playoffs, coming one game short of the Super Bowl.

Fortunately, after taking on that nightmarish trio, the Dolphins will get a very much needed bye the next week.  They'll need a rest after facing three of the best quarterbacks in the league in three weeks.
