The No. 11 has come to embody Micah Parsons, but that might be changing now that he’s trading in his Dallas Cowboys star for a Green Bay Packers uniform.
Parsons, who arrived at Penn State as the consensus top prospect in the state of Pennsylvania, donned the No. 11 jersey for the Nittany Lions which has become a program staple for excellence among linebackers.
Following in the footsteps of Penn State legend Lavar Arrington and then followed by Abdul Carter, the No. 11 has steep tradition at Penn State, and Parsons kept the number through his first four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.
However, shortly after being acquired by the Packers in a blockbuster trade, Parsons hints at changing his number.
Parsons, Friday posted on social media that he’s considering changing to the No. 0 or 1.
“Should I go 0 or 1!” Parsons posted.
Regardless, it seems that a new era for Parsons could bring a new jersey number.
