Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Irvin has refiled his $100 million lawsuit against Marriott and once again maintained his innocence regarding an alleged interaction with a woman inside a hotel lobby last month.
According to Fox 4 Staff and Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News, Irvin has moved the $100 million lawsuit from a federal court in Texas to an Arizona state court. That lawsuit now names Marriott and four hotel employees after it was previously said that a "Jane Doe" had been named.
It's presumed the "Jane Doe" is the hotel employee who accused Irvin of misconduct in February following an interaction that ultimately resulted in NFL Network and ESPN removing Irvin from their Super Bowl LVII coverage.
Also on Tuesday, Levi McCathern, Irvin’s attorney, narrated a video of the retired player's encounter with the woman in question. Per Gehlken, the video of the incident has no sound and seems to show a conversation that lasted "about one minute, 45 seconds."
